A good addition. Some of the stuff is pretty poor but they do show some classic horror from time to time.

Re: Horror Channel

I hadn't realised this was missing from Freeview. I watch Who on Horror via Freesat quite a lot. They show a classic episode on a Saturday afternoon in omnibus format. I know the purists hate it but my favourite Who VHS tapes were always the very oldest ones, where they cut the stories together into full-length TV movies. It takes me back to the late 80s when I first discovered classic Who TV episodes for myself. Prior to that, all I had to go on was the Target novelisations and (very rare) BBC2 repeats.

Re: Horror Channel

CBS seem to have realised at the last minute that their on-screen pop-up graphics saying "In X days Horror moves to Freeview channel 70" has been giving a lot of Sky and Freesat viewers the impression that the channel was coming off satellite altogether. Last night the continuity announcers started referring to Freeview as its new "additional" home.

Re: Horror Channel

Freeview has improved 1000%. Just CBS Drama left to join Freeview. They should get rid of most of the adult channels so there'll be more space for decent channels Travel Channel still timeshares it's not worth being on Freeview 4 hours of broadcasting.

Re: Horror Channel

Its expanding, for now. But it will have to contract again in 2018, as the government are hell bent on grabbing more Freeview spectrum to launch 5G phone services. Freesat will end up the way to go for most people who want more than a "Basic" service.

They really should have standardised on Freesat when they performed digital switchover. Terrestrial broadcast was never going to be able to deliver everything the digital evangelists promised.

Re: Horror Channel

Yes Horror is on LCN 70 as well as it's sister channels CBS Reality on LCN 66 & CBS Action on LCN 64. Just CBS Drama left to join Freeview.
