Question Help Selecting MP3 Player (NOT Ipod Type)

I am looking to get a MP3 Player for my Office. I wanted MP3 as I have loads of MP3 Files & can get them Faster than CDs....

I wanted a Player that Allows Flash Card or has USB Hook Up? Basically it looks like a Normal Stereo System (CD, Radio, Tape) & has a Card Slot or 2GB + Hard Disk....

I have thought of IPod or MP3 Player like that, but then I need a Dock & Speakers........ So Has anyone seen a Portable Stereo (like what you have in Kitchen) but MP3 Playback (NOT via CD) as I dont want to Burn CDs every day/week

Cheers

The closest thing i can find is this...
http://www.cnet.com.au/hometheatre/a...0060581,00.htm

It plays back via SC Cards But, it includes an mp3 player as well as a HiFi... lmao.

some digital radios can record to / play back from an SD card, might be worth looking into...

Re: Help Selecting MP3 Player (NOT Ipod Type)

Is this the sort of thing you are looking for?

It has a USB socket, so you can play tunes from an MP3 player thru it.

Re: Help Selecting MP3 Player (NOT Ipod Type)

I would have thought there would be a product like I-Pod but Built in Speakers & maybe CD Player for Kitchen & Office use....

Guess I will have to get I-Pod & a BOSE Speaker System or any Speakers/Dock....

Re: Help Selecting MP3 Player (NOT Ipod Type)

Why not look at the Sony Ericsson Walkman phones - plenty of storage for mp3s, several models have memory stick slots for added capacity, and they do a speaker dock as well:

SE phone

Speaker dock

You should be able to get the phone on a pretty good deal with one of the networks if you don't want to buy it SIM free (example).

Re: Help Selecting MP3 Player (NOT Ipod Type)

Thanks for Links.... Just had New Phone & I really want something Bigger than I-Pod or Mobile size

But the only one I seen looks a CHEAP Woolwoth type "Mini Hi-Fi" Wish there were some Options to get.. I cant believe there is NOTHING like it Out there....

We all use MP3..... To have a Radio/CD & H/D built into a Portable Stereo (Ghetto Blaster) type box & good sound in 1 Unit no Dock & all..... Then USB to PC to move Songs.....

The Hunt is still ON
