Cable my street text
Hi All.
Apologies in advance if this has been asked already (searched and couldnt find it )
I registered with cable my street a while ago and last month i recieved a text saying that a town hall meeting would take place about providing fibre to my area.
However i couldnt attend.
My question is, has anyone ever attended these meetings? What was the outcome and, what was the installation time from the meeting to the service being in your home.
Thanks in advance
A very frustrated BT infinity 2 customer

Re: Cable my street text
The meeting at Washington was to show the plans for the area, the build is already underway and will take over the next 12 months to complete. Its something in the region of 30k homes so bear with us

With up to 12mths to go that's why I suggest the OP goes to the BT custoner support forum.
There are a few of us there who know what we're talking about and can refer customers to direct one to one UK support if necessary.

Just remember this is for the whole build to be done, they will release specific areas as they are completed so depending where you are you may find yours done earlier.
