Constant loss of Internet

OK VM peeps this is getting beyond a joke. We are having constant loss of Internet for short periods of time which are enough to throw us out of competitive gaming. It happens on all devices wired and not. The VM forum is full of comments about this and no one is telling it straight. We had an engineer out a few weeks ago and our levels and modem are fine. You are going to lose a lot of customers soon if you don't get it sorted. Anyone out there got a big enough pair to confess the problem :-))).

This isn't a Virgin operated forum. Everyone on here are either enthusiasts or regular customers like you (There are some VM staff, but they come here as enthusiasts rather than as their job).

Your best bet is to phone them and get them to investigate.

It's not just Birmingham either, I keep having to call to be compensated until this is automatically done.

To be fair, they keep extending Sky Cinema for free by way of an apology for the inconvenience.

Re: Constant loss of Internet

Here's one post on VM forum and apparently VM Twitter is been bombarded with questions as well. Could it be the system just can't cope and is over subscribed or have our modems had a dodgy software update. Or is it the Russians as we seem to be blaming them for every little problem nowadays.

Re: Constant loss of Internet

This is happening for many users. Keep losing my wireless connection for over a week now, and the past 2 days ethernet has been totally up the wall. I'll ring them tomorrow.

Re: Constant loss of Internet

Been without the internet since Sunday early am, all I get is outsourced voice which I can't understand. When I asked for UK technical they refused point blank to connect.
