What's going on in the Preston area???

Since Saturday (10th) morning we've either had no internet connection or it's running VERY slooooooowwwww. I've been told that it'll be resolved by 09.00 this coming Thursday .

I have carried out a speed test which came back at 10MB, which is what I'm paying for, but the VM staff that I have spoken to have confirmed that there are speed issues in the Preston areas.

Is there anyone else in the Preston area having problems, or can anyone confirm what is happening please?

Thank you.

Re: What's going on in the Preston area???

hi and welcome to the forum. Although it is a pain in the bum having to wait, you should be glad it is going to be fixed. Trying to get VM to admit there is a fault on cable is bad enough and national is even worse as they probably have to get BT involved. Although your speed might be okay atm i would expect it to be intermittent over the next couple of days if they are still in the process of fixage.
