Here it comes

10th October 2016 - Virgin Media announces expansion to Dunfermline and outside areas.

Roadworks Scotland show works in my street as Feb 2018.

Town gains its ‘big cabinets’ at the edge around February 2017. I’m not sure of all the technical names.

Surprise on October 6th 2017 as VM install three cabinets in the street around me.

Roadworks Scotland confirm, VM have changed to now.

October 8th they dig across the street and lay thick green tubes.

October 11th they are now digging a trench the length of the street.

Should add, VM sent a letter advising of works starting and said to text a number if interested in their service.

I did so, and the lady that called me told me she didn’t really have any timescales, wasn’t sure if I was in the plan, and couldn’t price anything. Not too sure the whole text idea is worth it.

Over the last week though I’ve been getting hit hard with leaflets for basically every broadband from the big guys.

Sky sent a cool card thing with a wheel with some new customer pricing.

BT sent a ‘jump ship’ letter with pretty deep discounts for BT.

TalkTalk keep spamming me with personalised letters. Oddly unaware I am their customer.
