transfer between Outlook 2003 and Outlook2000

I want to move all the mails/address book, etc from Outlook 2K3 (desktop) to Outlook 2k (laptop) because my son wants to completly occupy the desktop. I used both 2k3 and 2k for the same email account (myself). Can anyone tell me how to move stuff from 2k3 to 2K without lose any information? I want to combine rather than replacement. Someone already told me to make a new pst file in 2k3 in 2k-1997 format. But I am not sure if I copy this file to 2k, would it overwrite the existing pst file in 2k? Thanks a lot
