Haircut!
Hi
I'm getting my hair cut in a couple of hours - wanting something as a reference to show the guy. Has anyone got any links to sites with good haircut pics. I have looked, it's a lot harder to find than you'd think.
I'm 27, male and like indie but also have job interview tomorrow.

Re: Haircut!
Just look up a celebrity that you like the hair cut of and print it out.

Re: Haircut!
I generally say something suitably vague like, "Just give it a trim and tidy it up a bit." Of course the barber then starts asking searching questions like, "How high do you want the sideboards?" which completely flummoxes me.
1) I was brought up to call them sideboards, but I'm not sure if they should really be called sideburns.
2) Silence is golden, especially on the part of barbers!
3) Do barbers still exist or have they all upgraded to become hairdressers?
4) What is the opposite of a Unisex hairdresser? No, perhaps we shouldn't go down that path.

Re: Haircut!
I know it's too late now, but when I was asking myself the same question I found TheHairStyler.com - which allows you to upload a photo and see yourself with various hairstyles, which is quite fun.
I didn't suit a mullet...

Re: Haircut!
Well, I played it safe and went a lot shorter than before, cut around the ears makes a big difference. Give it six weeks and it should be back to normal though and hopefully the job will be mine and I'll grow my hair scruffy again assuming it's not a sackable offence.
That site though - $15 dollars for 6 months? A bit steep? Would like to give it a go though.
Was this: click
Now is this: click (ish)
All I need now is a winning smile and I'm off the dole for another year!

Re: Haircut!
Congrats on the job!
Now go on and get yourself an indie haircut. From the pics you posted, it looks like a 'bed head' would suit you. I'm too old for this **** myself, but I occasionaly see a bed head on the train to work. It looks great!
You can get away with quite a lot working at uni btw

Re: Haircut!
Blade two sides, four on top. Blended at back - not square. Saves on shampoo (less hair = less shampoo) and time on a morning combing it. Also dries quicker in the rain. Trouble with gel and all that faffing with your hair is that in the rain it runs down your face and shoulders, so you look like a porn actor, post-final scene.
Oh and congrats on the job. Virology huh. Bird flu and all that.
