Installation in flats w/o management

Hi guys, I've recently moved into a 3 year old block of flats and I'm in the process of trying to get VM BB. The landlord is happy for the service to be installed but the problem is that the developer who built the flat has gone bankrupt and now there is no known contact for seeking permission to touch the building itself, thus the landlords permission is dependant on there being no legal issues coming back to herself.

However, the flat I'm in is positioned at the front of the block on the first floor, with nearly the entirety being across the car park below as well as the study/2nd bedroom being positioned along the external sidewall of the block. Am I correct in thinking that if cable can be run along one of the walls and then directly into the flat without touching any others then there should be no issues?

This info is with virgin and I'm hoping that I'll hear from them tomorrow but has anyone else been in this position? Cheers for any advice.
