Audio setup

Hi i have a ps3, surround system 5.1, and a lcd tv. i want surround sound from the tv and the ps3 without having to mess with the wires behind the tv.

my current setup is - to have surround sound to the tv i have a optical audio cable from the surround sound to the tv, but if i want surround sound to my ps3 i have to swap the optical audio cable from the tv to the ps3. i have a hdmi cable from the ps3 to the tv at all times.

has anyone got any ideas to help me?
is there some kind of splitter box that can help me without unplugging cables?
