Question Installation advice

Hi all, I am having Virgin Installed for the first time on Thursday, I am getting a Tivo 500gb TV XL, Broadband XL, and phone line medium.
If people could just clarify what cabaling i will need as these services will be installed in my bedroom which is at the back of the house, and the cable entry will be at the front, so I was considering running CT 63 (Twin coaxil cable) up the front of my house through my loft and down into my room, also an external phone line via the same route, would this cable suffice? As I am thinking one feed for the broadband and one for tivo.

Also I have just found out I maybe house sitting for 4-6 weeks, they have a virgin box outside but their services have been cut off (not paying their bill) Once I am up and running can I take my broadband and tivo, to their house to connect to the virgin box outside so I can use my services while they are away.

Thank you all for your time.

Re: Installation advice

The cable your suggesting WONT bee acceptable for a number of reasons (for example its most likely satellite grade and so wont bee shielded to the level of VM cable). The best bet for a route like this (as generally VM techs wont touch the loft space) is to run a drawstring along the route you want the tech can then attach the cable to the string and pull it through (make sure any entrance/exit holes would bee large enough).

As for your second question, technically this would bee a breach of your contract with VM however IF the connection at the friends house is still active and is within the same local network the TV side if things may work though i have no idea of the broadband side.
