Need help tuning set top box to TV Tuner Card

Hi

I am trying to connect my Samsung SMT-2100C Virgin Set Top Box to my PC.

So far I have installed this Hybrid (Digital/Analogue) PCI card

http://tinyurl.com/63vf95f

And I have then converted the scart output on the Set Top Box to S-video and plugged into the S-video input on the PCI card.

What I don't know is how to now tune the Set Top Box to the card and what software could I use? I tried Windows Media Centre but just get your card is not supported in the UK.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Kind Regards

Jon D.

There should be no tuning to do.
The card should come with all the software needed to watch/record the output of the set top box.

If you are expecting to control the digibox from the PC or view its tv guide info then you are going to de disappointed. That is not possible.

How have you converted it? You can't simply use a cable to do this because the VM boxes don't output S-Video. You'd need an active (and usually expensive) RGB to S-Video converter.

However, you can use the composite output from the SCART directly into your capture card.
