Re: May calls General Election for June 8th
election due to the many traitors in Westminster trying to derail brexit
Justifying the decision, Mrs May referred to Brexit, saying: "The country is coming together but Westminster is not."

Tories and Liberals know their campaign but wonder how Labour will sell it.

The Labour leadership (and SNP and the Liberal Democrats) has pledged to back an early election. As to how Labour MPs will vote is another matter.

Good we need this to settle things down and i predict a heavy conservative landslide with neither labour or the lib dems being remotely credible though likely the lib dems will benefit from remain supporters. What will be most interesting is scotland and how well the snp fare it will be a chance for scots to show whether they support another indyref or not. Interesting times ahead and i hope Theresa May comes out ahead.

Re: May calls General Election for June 8th
I don't think the Liberals will do too well, the Tories can focus 100% on them given how weak Labour are.

Re: May calls General Election for June 8th
I think the liberals may overtake labour to be honest they will target remain voters and there's probably a good enough amount of single issue voters to make the lib dems more then they are.

Re: May calls General Election for June 8th
The Lib Dems will do well in remainy marginals where they were in second place in 2015. The Tories will lose a couple of seats to them. However they will win many more seats from Labour, which I am sure is May's calculation.

people in certain areas vote labour religiously no matter what the state of the party is or its politics .
