Constantine
New series based on the comic and truer to it than the 2005 keanu reeves film of the same name.
Just watched the first episode, looks promising and Matt Ryan brings a lightness to what could be a dark series.

Re: Constantine
I'm enjoying it so far.
The lead played Edward Kenway in Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag.

The northern accent sometimes slips to the native Welsh, listen out for it.

Re: Constantine
Probably.
Watched the first three the other day - seems a bit like another form of Supernatural.
I would not go overboard for it, but its been ok so far, going to keep up with it for now.

Re: Constantine
NBC have declined to order the extra 9 episodes for season 1, so it will consist only of the initial 13.

Re: Constantine
This seems like a show which would suit sticking to a 13 episode season. So I hope it is renewed. It does have its problems but those could be fixed in a second season.

Re: Constantine
Thread update as I've been keeping tabs on a possible return.
Cancelled by NBC after Season 1
Status: Rights are now with CW.
CW seed has the entire first season up for streaming.
Constantine made multiple appearances on CW's Arrow Season 4.
There is a possibility CW will look to push a season 2 out in 2017.

Re: Constantine
Well they will need something to fill the Vampire Diaries gap.

Re: Constantine
CW Seed just announced Constantine the animated series. Voice provided by Matt Ryan.
It's now expected he'll make Cameo's in any of the three prime universe shows when required. It's also noted that it's possible this is merely a placeholder as Matt Ryan is busy with other projects and that upon finishing will sign for a second live action series which on CW will likely be a soft-reboot (Not retconning series 1 but rarely referencing it)
