This is a good question . I love Johnny Cash singing Ring of Fire & any of his songs are perfect for me.

For me it was the heady days of 1979 when a skinny 13yr old found SKA & The Prince by Madness.
SKA is still a part of my life & I listen to it most days.

My most recent 'hero', Mark Lanegan and his cover of The Gun Club's Carry Home
Saw Mark live at the Leeds Met just a few weeks ago. Cracking gig, attended mostly by scruffy looking males in their 30s and 40s
Here's the original version by the Gun Club. Jeffrey's voice still sends shivers down my spine. RIP Jeffrey

Faith No More - Epic
changed my music taste a lot. I used to be in Bon Jovi, GNR etc, heard Epic, and got into more alternative, heavier stuff, John Zorn etc. I'm still a big FNM fan and follow all of Mike Patton's other projects, but The Real Thing is probably the FNM album I'm least likely to listen to these days.
