l hate those bleedin Wonga adverts as the APR is incredibly high and people should not fall for this loan shark company.

APR means nothing though as they are usually small short term loans that would be paid off within a couple of months.

Loving the new Sainsburys advert.

Re: What are your best and worse TV ads?

Most interesting ad at the moment. Haven't seen it on tv, so it might be Cinema only, but it's the Heineken ad.

The full version (which seems to be more a video for the song, rather than an ad) is at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=On6U-kQGBcA

Re: What are your best and worse TV ads?

Those Halifax adverts with the choir. Usually I can't stand adverts for banks but this one really has the laxative effect on me (ie irritates the brown stuff out of me). It tries to be so warm, fuzzy and cuddly but makes me want to put a brick through their window

Steady on Russ but yes its is a very irritating advert and and not the first by Halifax as l can remember several more irritating adverts by them.

Re: What are your best and worse TV ads?

Every single Halifax advert makes me want to vomit and is a good enough reason never to bank with them or possibly even visit Halifax.

I fact I would ship everyone who ever appeared in an advert to Halifax Nova Scotia in just their uniform in the middle of winter.

Re: What are your best and worse TV ads?

The adverts that are really getting on my nerves at the moment are the Barclays onnes. That anoying guys voice really makes me want to scream. On top of that he talks a load of nonsense (i.e. "someone will have to clean that up,probably the dog" so bloody iritating! )

The wonderful Stephen Merchant, about as funny as a case of haemorrhoids.

Re: What are your best and worse TV ads?

Whatever that advert is where people try to sing the final countdown and all of the heads pop up projected on the side of these skyscrapers. Why must these adverts be sung by people who are completely tone-deaf?

On the other side of the coin, you can't beat Vic and Bob's old TV licence fee ad

That's because it's members of the public. You can add yourself to it on the website. Thinks its for the Olympics.
