superhub blue light gone green

the internet went very slow and then no access at all . customer service said they were upgrading in area 20 , but service status says good service ? however the blue light has now gone green and been like that two days , ive done a speedtest and am getting 30mb so thats ok , does it matter about the blue light being green and if so how do i get it back to blue ? or should it go back automatically when they finish doing the upgrade ? thanks

Re: superhub blue light gone green

Your connection is made up of multiple signals combined together. When the light is blue, it means you have more than 1 of those signals. It goes green when only one can connect. Although you have a connection, you have a problem with it as that light should be blue.

You need to call them up as upgrades in the area won't cause issues for two days like that, you have a fault somewhere or there's a fault in the area. Either way, they need to fix it by sending a tech out, possibly to your property.

Re: superhub blue light gone green

customer services at first said there was a fault in area and could take untill 8th may to fix , but according to service status it says good service . should blue light come back on , on its own once fault is fixed ? they said service will be intermittant until then . thanks

Re: superhub blue light gone green

Sometimes rebooting the SH picks up a different primary channel and then the rest.

Re: superhub blue light gone green

It's worth trying a reboot of the superhub. Our work business superhub has been dropping from blue to green a number of times in the last few days. VM admit they were doing stuff on the network, but a reboot usually allowed the thing to reset at least for a few hours until the next time.
