Dont worry man, i was only wondering if there was a quick fix. Thanks for your help though! I'll research it again later on when it annoys me!

Re: Why does my computer beep all the time?
Same here. I presume it only works on a particular motherboard, though - could that be the problem?

Re: Why does my computer beep all the time?
Thought it would state on the site, I assume we all got it from the first link on a google search??
If so I will try to find a alternative download for it.
Rather unusal as my pc runs a Gigabyte Mobo and dont have issues.

version 3.2 works for me, but I'm on W98se with a biostar nforce2 mobo?
silly question time - xcdtowg, is it possible you already have a hardware monitor running & it is that generating the beeps?
- sorry if that's lame, but i had to ask

Re: Why does my computer beep all the time?
Intermittent beeps, short ones.... hmmm i would hazard a guess at a ps2 device, either the mouse or keyboard, might be shorting on specific movement (mouse) or keypress (keyboard)
If it was major hardware (ram etc..) then it would constantly beep....... or just not work at all......... its unusual for that sort of hardware to cause an intermittent beep fault..
I would recommend replacing your kb and mouse....... should cost ya around £15 for a cheap set,
KP
