The National Archives on Monday made public over 400 previously unreleased documents related to the CIA and FBI's investigation of the assassination of President John F. Kennedy.
Among the 441 materials released include 17 audio files of interviews of Yuri Nosenko, a KGB officer who defected to the United States in January 1964. Nosenko claimed to be the officer in charge of the KGB file on Lee Harvey Oswald during Oswald's time in the Soviet Union.
Other documents released include items related to the probe of Martin Luther King Jr.'s assassination who was murdered five years after President Kennedy was killed, in 1968.
A 1992 law requires that the National Archives to preserve the approximately 5 million pages of records surrounding the investigation. Most of the records have been available to the public since the late 1990s.
A US House of Representatives Investigation on Assassinations concluded in the late 1970's that President Kennedy, was probably assassinated as a result of a conspiracy.
There is more documents to come, if the current sitting President grants permission to their release.

President Trump has permitted the release of 5,000 documents that will be released later today, that was sealed and deemed classified, initially for 75 years. This was abolished in 1992, and a set period of 25 years in an act passed by Congress and signed in to law, by then President George Bush Snr.
The CIA is suppose to have lobbied President Trump not to release certain classified files. It was not a coincidence that on the eve of their release, Trump visited Dallas, Texas, the city in which JFK’s assassination took place.

God bless President Trump !
Lots of money made from conspiracy theories, books films etc. Same with the death of Diana. The truth is just too boring and unprofitable for some people i.e. a lone nutter gunman, and a 'high as a kite' driver in Diana's case.

Can be benign stuff like names of other suspects, agents, operational information etc. Even 54 years later they probably want to keep as much secret as possible.

I’m always skeptic about 99% of Conspiracy theories. But I strongly suspect, Kennedy was assassinated because of the Bay of pigs fiasco and his stance on the CIA.

Possible but I am not convinced.
However if they did I imagine it would have to have been a very small team. The more people involved the bigger the chance it gets exposed especially 50 years later. These people are very unlikely to have documented it or done it via any official means. I guess the only way that would be revealed is if other elements within the CIA had suspected some had gone rogue and launched an investigation and that's what eventually gets released.

Yes, there was the issue of the enemy having no face, except the cover story that got put out that Lee Harvey Oswald was the lone wolf.
Oliver Stone, explained this plausible theory, in his film during the Mr X Scene...

And jack ruby done away with the lone killer out of the goodness of his heart to prevent his wife having to endure the ordeal of a trial, if nothing else rings alarms as not adding up then that should

Given the impact and emotional significance of Kennedy's assassination it's not a surprise it compelled someone to attempt the murder of the killer.
I agree that the Kennedy assassination is one of the more plausible conspiracy theories as the logic checks out better than it does with 9/11, there are fewer leaps of faith required, but I still think the likeliest explanation is the one we have now or a variation of it. The other theories require more questions as evidenced by the amount of premises set-up and leaps made in that JFK video.

And that someone was a known pimp and drug dealer, traits not normally found in avenging patriots, mind you he did get incredibly lucky what with the police forgetting to lock all those doors in the police station

Jack Ruby, was seen earlier on in the Police station, when Oswald was being questioned by the Police, there is news footage of him being there, perhaps he was going to shoot him then?
There are those that knew Ruby and have argued over time that he, couldn't have given a toss about Kennedy and he was being far from patriotic when he shot Oswald. But in shooting and killing Oswald, he enshrines in to history, one of the biggest unsolved crime of the century.
The House Select Committee on Assassinations in 1979, only partly believed part of the Warren Commissions findings.
