Are you suffering connection loss? You're leaving Virgin on account of the box being open? Are you sure its a VM box?

Yes, leaving them at the end of this month, the box was open for 2 months, despite many phone calls and emails to them. Finally it resulted in a gang of kids ripping the wires out. Virgin then and only then came and repaired it, costing me a weekend without connection.

Yet another example of what happens when you promote short-sighted muppets into management positions. For want of a brief detour to lock a cabinet, VM has lost a customer plus the cost of fixing avoidable vandalism.
You can lead a horse to water, and all that. Still, thanks for sharing this tale with us, RG, it has been entertaining (though not for you, obviously!).
