Okay so i understand P2P throttling has certain times when it is activated so heres my problem just recently maybe 2 weeks my 100 meg stable conenction has been fluctuating (i put it down to utilization as cold weather people want to stay in doors etc) but this is were its gets weird
came home 3am expect my conenction to be pretty much top end speeds.
thinkbroadband test file (see pic 1)
now this is my problem my solid 100meg connection turns into this during a presumably well seeded ubuntu torrent. (see pic 2)
Choking maybe as i presume thats how p2p throttling works?
As far as i know P2P throttling isnt active at theses times any ideas?
edit quick pic from installing leagueoflegends this is what i get during downlaodig the installation files (through their p2p client)
I'm not sure what you're getting at. Pic 2, of you downloading an ubuntu torrent shows you getting over 100Mbps on the download and therefore pretty much full speeds. What exactly do you think is the problem?
Okay what i mean as you can see its stable in pic 1 and in pic 2 it chokes every 20 secs? it has neverdone this before. watching as i download it can range from 100mbps to 13mbps in less than a few seconds like bursting then virgin realise oh this is p2p lets throttle it?
Might i add that it has never done this before sometimes its justt hovers around 30mbps chokes shoots up to 100mbps chokes again sometimes even in the kbps this is not normal to me.
apologies for bumping latest screenshot same torrent (ubuntu) was fine last night now i get this constant stop starts.
sureley this is vm p2p throttling gone wrong. tested my conenction again through thinkbroadband test file and solid 100mbps.
edit okay this is what it should look like ie solid that is from the torent can anyone explain the stop starting (choking?) when i knew my conenction was running as it should as i said i downlaoded test filefrom thinkbroadband and it was downlaoding flawlessly.
