TiVo EPG question.

Does the TiVo EPG allow you to see the programme listings for unsubscribed channels?

Does it also allow you to look at the programme synopsis?

Cheers.

Re: TiVo EPG question.

You can see the channels and their programmes, but I don't think you can see the synopsis. Channels not subscribed to will be in grey.

Re: TiVo EPG question.

You get the first bit of the synopsis at the top of the screen above the listings but if you click on a programme it says you need to subscribe....

Re: TiVo EPG question.

Thanks.

I'm thinking of downgrading from XL and want to use the TiVo EPG to check if there's anything I want to watch on the lost channels that are available on Freesat (before switching over to that system).

I've not worked out how to do it yet, so I'm not sure how difficult it will be to toggle between the two systems (and freeview when I get my new TV).

I would have thought it would be easier just to buy a suitable TV guide for a couple of weeks to help you decide. Too much faffing around otherwise.
