Wifi signal booster

Hi guys
I was given a 3 network home signal device last night I have connected it with my router confusion is do I need a active SIM to use it as a Wi-Fi booster or not

It isn't a general Wi-Fi booster. It's for connecting Three mobiles if you don't have a signal in your home, and will only work for the registered user. Give it back - they should return it to Three if they no longer need it.

I use wifi signal booster from myamplifiers. I am 100% satisfied with it. I don't have to worry about unstable connection, slow speed etc.
