update?
box just went into update mode, rebooted it self and now i've missed 20 mins of the film Go, grrr vm

There's an update for all V+ boxes going out at the moment, to fix a few bugs.

Box updated at 4.15 am this morning.
My V+ box went into reboot, displayed the "updating- do not unplug your box" message on the TV, displayed a load of symbols on the box itself and then rebooted again.
Was this only on the V+?
Can we expect to see any changes? (Doesn't seem to be any more channels present.)

It's good that the V+ is still being maintained prior to it's withdrawal. I wonder what bugs this will fix?
btw, in another thread, essjay says that this is a code download for QAM 256 upgrades.

They were.
Users with a Samsung V+ may notice VOD and interactive apps load quicker. Otherwise you probably won't see a difference.
