Re: Euro 2012

As per the other thread. Downling is a bizarre choice and Carroll ahead of Sturridge and Crouch is also odd.

Yes l am a bit surprised Sturridge was not picked but maybe he sees Carroll as a secret weapon to come on as sub with 20 minutes to go.

Re: Euro 2012

In my opinion it should be Richards, Carrick, Adam Johnson and Sturridge in. Milner, Downing, Barry and Carroll out. Jordan Henderson should be nowhere near the standby list as well.

This site has a excel spreadsheet that you can input the scores as they happen and even the next rounds as the teams progress

Re: Euro 2012

he's not bad, Arsenal have been watching him for a while. its good to also see the youth being nurtured

---------- Post added at 18:51 ---------- Previous post was at 18:36 ----------

Bendtner scored vs Brazil in their friendly. Brazil won 3-1. hope Bendtner carries on scoring.. we could do with more interest in him.

Germany 5-3 down vs the Swiss

Heyyyyyyy..I am watching this now

l wonder if after the match we hear those famous words.

Quote:
"We are the best in the world! We are the best in the world! We have beaten England 2-1 in football!! It is completely unbelievable! We have beaten England! England, birthcountry of giants. Lord Nelson, Lord Beaverbrook, Sir Winston Churchill, Sir Anthony Eden, Clement Attlee, Henry Cooper, Lady Diana--we have beaten them all. We have beaten them all. "Maggie Thatcher can you hear me? Maggie Thatcher, I have a message for you in the middle of the election campaign. I have a message for you: We have knocked England out of the football World Cup. Maggie Thatcher, as they say in your language in the boxing bars around Madison Square Garden in New York: Your boys took a hell of a beating! Your boys took a hell of a beating!"
