Hey guys I am trading in my 3GS, but have a question. When I connected it to iTunes, it still shows my current phone number thats now been ported to my Blackberry, why is this?
Make sure you choose that one and not a simple "Reset All Settings". It must be the full "Erase All Content and Settings".
Also, don't worry about it being very quick when it does it - from the 3GS onwards, a secure wipe simply requires a quick wipe of the encryption key, rather than a full overwrite of the entire storage space.
