Re: Binge watch TV, what are you binging on ATM.

Watched first two series of GOT. Brilliant. But for the moment Maxheadroom, the series.

I remember these on MTV but forgot how good they were. Effects from their era but the stories really hold up well.

Got the DVD rip with the background material as well.

Watching The Librarians Season 1 atm - quite entertaining, loosely a bit like Warehoue 13.

Similar to Warehouse 13 but came long before it. Might be worth watching the movies.

Re: Binge watch TV, what are you binging on ATM.

I tend to alternate my tv between adult dramas with good doses of sex and/or violence in them, sci fi/fantasy shows and "wholesome" tv shows.

I am in wholesome tv mode.

A series appeared on ITV in the afternoons several years ago and I caught a few episodes and was hooked. I don't think the series was ever finished by ITV which was a shame and really it should've have been in primetime but I have got my hands on it.

I am binge watching Everwood.

It's a story about a New York brain surgeon who moves his son and daughter to a small town after his wife is killed in a car crash.

This is one of those series' that the yanks do really well. Really well written, really well acted with great comedy scenes too. It stars Treat Williams as the dad and former child star Gregory Smith (now in Rookie Blue) as the son. These two on screen together are electric and are THE show.

As long as you don't mind American family values with heavy "message" ridden story lines, teen angst and lots of teenage shouting and sulking, this is highly recommended. I love it!

Seriously considering digging out those Waltons boxsets or Michael Langdon stuff when I'm finished with this.

Re: Binge watch TV, what are you binging on ATM.

Cowboy Bebop. Critically acclaimed as one of the best animé out there. Got it in 1080p with optional Japanese speech and English subs.

We're half way through the TV series but this clip is from the movie spin off.

Re: Binge watch TV, what are you binging on ATM.

Fringe, in between up to date shows.

For those who've never heard of it, think X-files without the E.T aspect. It's very well scripted and moves away from a procedural style in season 2.

Re: Binge watch TV, what are you binging on ATM.

Just watched all 10 episodes of Santa Clarita Diet.

Netflix new Zombie horror/comedie staring Drew Barrymore, it was really good. Pretty dark humour due to the zombie eating people thing.

Yeah Fringe was pretty good. Watched it when it was shown first time around. One of those shows that I couldn't miss.

Watched the trailer on Netflix the other night. Thought it would be something I liked. Will give it a whirl once I'm up to date with Vikings. Vikings is a firm favourite in our household. Fell way behind following the birth of our son. Now that he's in a regular sleeping pattern we can catch up with this and I'll finally get to watch the last series of Boardwalk Empire I miss sleep

Going to start this tonight. I've missed Tim Olyphant since Justified finished.

The last thing I binge watched was Wyonna Earp, it was pretty good, looking forward to season 2.

Re: Binge watch TV, what are you binging on ATM.

At least someone likes it

It had an interesting story arc but the procedurals were just too dull for me to consider riding it out.

As the point of the thread though it is actually something I'd probably binge watch at a later date. Just knocked it off my weekly viewing schedule.
