V+ 12 Month Minimum Service Period
The VIP package for the V+ has a minimum 12 month period at either £85 ( Triplay) or £125 ( quadplay).
What happens at the end of the minimum period in terms of price? Is the VIP package a special promotion for only 12 months or is that the price it will continue at once the minimum period is over?
If the price does go up and you can't afford it what options are open to you?
It's just that I'm not really keen to upgrade ( which would be cheaper and better for me) if the price is going to rise sharply back to full price.

Re: V+ 12 Month Minimum Service Period
ntluser, Have been reading up on the Virgin web site and have ploughed through the legal stuff and this paragraph seems to be the only way that the price of the VIP package would be changed other than the normal relatively small yearly increase we seem to get. The phrase 'at least 12 months' indicates, I would have thought, that the special rate will continue as long as you don't alter your package.

You must, at a minimum, take the services included in your package for at least 12 months. If you change any part of your package, standard prices apply.

Hi Jo,
Thanks for that. Looks promising. Maybe I'll give it a go.

Re: V+ 12 Month Minimum Service Period
when i asked, they said at the moment they wont change... but as prices in the market change over time, they could be a better or worse deal avalable after the 12 months.

Thanks for that.Cost of living rises aren't so bad but a sudden reversion to standard prices would mean cutting down some of the features.
Given the pressure from Sky I would hope the deal would be better not worse.
