Did you notice a strange glow to skies over England & Wales on Mon 16/10/17?
Whilst I didn't myself as I was bed bound, some people noticed this.
Did you?

Yes. When I went for lunch there was a red tinch to everything sort of light twilight but a different colour.
As explained in the BBC article this was widely reported and understood. It was dust that hurricane Ophelia had dragged in from the Sahara and the forest fire in Europe.
