As per that article, Horizon will be exactly the same box as the V6 (generically known as EOS), but as far as I know it hasn't got beyond trials on that hardware anywhere yet. So if you ordered a Horizon today, you'd probably get something older.

Looks like they use 5 tuners on the current box. I don't know how many they'll use on the EOS.

Thanks, Spiderplant. As long as we're not restricted on the recording capacity to fewer hours than we have now, it seems that the new Horizon box is nothing to worry about if this is the way VM take us. It would be nice to have 2TB though!

l cannot see that happening as that would be a seriously retrograde step IMO OB.
