Red Dead Redemption 2
Rockstar set to announce Red Dead 3, days after teasing it. Expect a trailer this week.
Title can be amended to it's name when it's announced.
Edit: http://www.rockstargames.com/reddeadredemption2/
Title needs amended to Read Dead Redemption 2

Confusing I know. Is annoying when they use sub titles rather than numbers, GTA V being the sixth main game. Either way, trailer Thursday and a 2017 release, likely to be delayed a few times along the way of course in Rockstar fashion. Here's hoping there's a multi-platform release that isn't limited to just the consoles at first. Otherwise it'll be time to pick up an Xbone.
Edit: PS4 and Xbone only to start with. PC port will undoubtedly be 3 years down the line if ever. Is worth buying an Xbox for this.
Trailer debuts Thursday.

That's without Rockstar delays that we come to expect now. I bet at some point next year they push it back to March 2018 for final touches.

Re: Red Dead Redemption 2
Do you think Fall 2017, release will have something to do with Project Scorpio?

Re: Red Dead Redemption 2
Nah, it'll have an upscaled version either way. Like I said above, don't expect 2017 to be a given. Rockstar routinely delay games. Very annoying that they'll release a Scorpio version but won't port any version to PC for years after. Either way like GTA V, I'm not waiting for daft ports to play it. Stepdaughter wants a new PS4 or Xbone S for christmas anyway

That will probably be a few years yet.

Re: Red Dead Redemption 2
I'd rather see Bully or even Agent if they're still working on that.

Sadly as you can probably guess by the lack of info, gameplay, trailers and so forth that it was indeed pushed back to Q2 2018. I'd expect another delay though.

Re: Red Dead Redemption 2
Whilst annoying, with Rockstar they wait until a game is completely playable before releasing it rather than rush it out and then work on a huge update to fix bugs. I'd rather wait for the finished article.

Re: Red Dead Redemption 2
I'm looking forward to the single player portion of the game, I have absolutely no faith in Rockstar when it comes to their online modes. GTA Online demolished that bridge with shark cards, first they seemed like a genuinely good idea, it allowed them to introduce micro-transactions and deliver free DLC, it's when the DLC in game cost started getting absolutely ridiculous and near unobtainable without an incredible amount of hours to dedicate that it basically became a freemium model game, delivering DLC that the average player couldn't acquire in game without resorting to purchasing in game currency for real world money and then their recent actions towards the online community are questionable at the very least.
So the ball is in Rockstar's court on how they deal with Red dead's online mode, they have a chance to redeem themselves or continue aligning themselves with the notorious lot of the gaming development world. Rockstar are better than this.
