Upgrading from V+ to TiVo

Is now a good time to upgrade to TiVo, or is there a new box around the corner? Is there much benefit to the TiVo box over the V+ other than hard disk capacity?

Re: Upgrading from V+ to TiVo

We got our TiVo (2 of them) the same time passingbat did. Aside from a faulty one at initial install which was quickly replaced we've had no issues. After setting everything up we've never looked back. If you're even considering it then I'd say go for it.

Re: Upgrading from V+ to TiVo

Go for it. I was totally against TiVo, but having been forced to take the plunge after my V+ packed up I am wondering why I was so against it.
