Rebooting

Our V+ box is rebooting itself at about 8pm and has been doing so for a few days on and off, is there a specific reason for this as it messing up our programmes being recorded at the time.

Re: Rebooting

There should be no downloading/updating by Virgin before 12.00 midnight to cause it.

If it is rebooting when recording (and not rebooting if not recording / pausing) then it could be a hard disk problem. Otherwise maybe a dodgy power supply??

Re: Rebooting

I would call VM and book a tech. There's very little that you can do to solve the problem. If the box is faulty then they'll replace it. You will lose any recordings that you haven't watched but from what you've said, it hasn't recorded much of late.
