Joining Virgin soon

After months of frustration with signal strength under my Orange contract, i'm switching to Virgin PAYG next month (my spv C500 is already unlocked).

A few questions ...

Do virgin operate a free text upgrade that will auto fix my MMS and GPRS settings as Orange do or will i have to hunt the settings down and enter them manually (the spv C500 is supposedly an Orange only phone)?

Do NTL have any price plans from Vigin mobile to NTL land based phones in the offing?

Are the current free weekend texts to other Virgin mobiles going to be be honoured or have the rules changed now?

Thanks.

Try this, and try either the 450 or 550 settings? I dunno...

An alternative is filesaveas.com and look for the Virgin settings there.
