Post At the races channel - New Red Button Service

Received the following information from ntl:-

What's happening?
  • At the Races is in the Digital TV Base Pack.
  • From today there will be a Red button service on the channel.
  • When customers press the red button there will be a menu with links to Ladbrokes and BlueSquare, customers can select which betting partner they want to use and will be taken through to their section in the walled garden.
  • There will be more links added in the future.
What does it cost?

Using the application is free, however customers will need to pay for any bets they place.

Customers will need to register with BlueSquare or Ladbrokes to place bets. There is information on how to do this in the BlueSquare and Ladbrokes sites on the walled garden.

Why dosent attheraces fill the whole minipicture after you press red? it only fills the normal interactive minipicture, for some reason it fills a black box behind the rest of the missing picture, its a small box within a big box so what is the point? but on the bright side it is nice to finally see some widescreen interactive services on ntl

yep i agree it is not the same as it use to be but it would be nice if the screen stayed in the middle and the interactive worked around it ! but it looks nicer all we need now is the red button and ill be ok
