Dodgy picture compared to Aerial

Hi there, on here for the first time so be gentle.

My picture through virgin isnt a very good picture quality, when i plug the aerial straight into the tv the picture is much better? Can i do anything different to change this?

Any help would be appreciated.

Do you have a reason to not connect the Aeriel directly to the TV?

Sorry, i have the aerial plugged in all the time. but the cable channel is not as good as the other channels? Is this normal?

Is this a recent occurrence (the bad tv picture), or has it been that way since VM installed it?

Is picture on Scart bad or just through the RF connection because when we had
this cable box put in the RF out signel is very poor . Engineer tried altering things
made no Differance told us just use the scart connection .

This has happened since i had a new box installed.

Also the bad picture is through the Scart.

Then i would suggest you get back on to them to Fix it because that is
certainly not Right.

If I have this right.

The picture is good using the tuner on the TV to view a channel.

The same channel on the same TV connected to the cable box via SCART is rubbish.

I have had loose SCART conenctions, poor quality SCART cables etc. Also you can use RGB or Composite through SCART. The V Box can be configured to RGB or Composite I think.

Check the cables if your sure they are OK get an engineer.
