KGN-e-Solutions Microsoft Scam

A friend of mine today was caught by this scam..

http://www.digitaltoast.co.uk/suppor...temrecure-scam

He was contacted by someone claiming to be from microsoft support a chinese woman stating he had reported a problem over microsoft reports and he was the only one to have reported it and then needed to do tests over remote assistance to find out what is causing the problem. Not knowing any different he let them do this after following advice on how to set it up to allow them in and then asked for his credit card details after they stated it would cost £60 to put the problem right which he give thinking it was microsoft as they had stated.

Now since restarting his PC he is completely locked out of the system and the billing is also really strange.. He has been billed £60.00 GBP to KGN -e- Solutions through AlertPay and all support emails are @gmail.com.

Is there a microsoft department which i can report this to on his behalf as he is really worried and upset by all this.

Has he contacted his card company to cancel the card? That *really* should be the first priority.

Re: KGN-e-Solutions Microsoft Scam

Contact microsoft UK to report this and he must contact his card company straight away as this is nothing but a complete scam although the damage may already be done. If it were me i would contact my card company cancel the current card and get a new one and also contact anyone else concerned with his finances and make them aware if nothing else.
