TUF 15

Does anyone else have trouble with The Ultimate Fighter series on ESPN. I can;t work out if it's a scheduling issue, a box issue, or just plain sloppiness on both parts.

I manage to record episode one set to record series. The next episode I watched seemed to be episode three. Then I watched two more episodes that even with 5 min extra at the start and 10 mins extra at the end they both managed to not record the ending. This weeks I have seen nothing on my box for TUF 15. so did it not air or am I going to be an episode short yet again?

I can't even download and watch it because I don't have a clue what the episode is I'm up to now. That leads me to another thing on Virgin. Is it really too hard to put S01 E03 or what ever in the listings so we can keep track? With programmes apparently changing station at will, it's become impossible to know what you've seen and what you've missed.

I really like my Virgin+ box, but it's getting annoying missing bit of stuff for no apparent reason. Even my old crappy video was able to record a programme if it over ran.

Thanks in advance.

Re: TUF 15

Post on the coming soon thread suggests it's because ESPN keep changing the name of the programme.

Re: TUF 15

I guessed it was ESPNs fault. Sometimes the program before over runs by 20-30 mins, that kinda kills anything you record.

Re: TUF 15

ESPN are annoying with this type of stuff. Ever since their boxing show Friday Night Fights moved to ESPN America 3 months ago I get all sorts of problems. If the basketball on before it over runs, you join the boxing "in progress". Sometimes I miss about 20 minutes of the boxing because of this. I never had this problem when the boxing was on ESPN. Also the start time for the programme chops and changes at the last minute. That's now 2 times in a month I don't know how the main event ended as the last 20 minutes of the show is missing.

Because the boxing is on at 3am or 4am most weeks, I'm tucked up in my bed 4 or 5 hours before the show starts. If the EPG is being changed, or ESPN America is advertising a different start time, I'm totally unaware as I'm ZZZZZZZZ........

Sort it out ESPN! Friday Night Fights and Rangers playing in the SPL are the only time I watch the channel. If ESPN ever dropped out of the XL package, there is no way I'd subscribe. In fact if ESPN dropped out of the XL package I think ESPN might begin to struggle. They seem to have had a lot of free week and weekend passes recently. Their viewing figures on BARB are not strong.

Rant over

Re: TUF 15

I've already raised the issue here:

http://tv.espn.co.uk/gb/espl/help-feedback/

I got no reply. I also raised the issue as part of their Fans Forum, again no reply. Now that I think about it, I've asked ESPN various questions in the past 3 years and have never had a reply.
