DEVOLO

I have a devolo web booster and im slightly concerned that people may be able to access my internet connection without a password. Does it use the security details from the rooter or do you have to set up a new password manually? I cannot find a way to create a new password on it!

Re: DEVOLO

not sure what product youve got but there mention of software which directs you to configuration of the settings etc.

have a look on the manufactures site for your product and support > software

Andy

I installed a pair of Devolo dlan homeplugs last weekend and there is a button on the plugs to encrypt the data. The also came with a config CD to customise the settings. Not sure if this feature is on your web booster device but worth checking their site. All their products are here:
