help sound troubles

Question help sound troubles

Ok guys I use a Win 98 second edition Pc. For no reason I get no sound. I checked all the volume stuff its all ok. When I go to the sound menu in the Control Panel. It says sound file damaged. What should I do where hsould I go. Please help me I'll make it worth your while

try reloading your soundcard drivers, worked for me. And double check all connections & power.

Any problems in Device Manager?

how do i reload my soundcard drivers (i'm quite dumb when it comes to the tech stuff)
