Cold Water gone in Bathroom, works everywhere else
Does anyone have an idea what would cause the cold water to completely be off in one room but work fine in all the others? I am thinking airlock but I haven't seen that wipe out water to the entire room before....

With normal water pressure, you would expect any airlock to be cleared, is there any noise at all if the tap is opened fully?
Is it possible that the bit that holds the tap washer has snapped so the tap isn't actually turning on?

If your tap has a rubber type washer the washer can sometimes get stuck/jam and prevent water coming out.

if its the bathroom and the toilet works then 95% going to be the tap. likely one feed to the bathroom which splits under the floor between sink, bath and WC.
I had a toilet refuse to refill and it was a tiny split in a rubber membrane that was causing the plastic valve to stick.
took it apart and got a new seal from plumbers merchant. Under £2.

It was the whole room! It's fixed itself though which isn't massively comforting...

Do you know if the bathroom is fed from the incoming rising main (high pressure) or from a tank in the loft (low pressure)? IIRC by law only the tap in the kitchen has to be fed from the rising main as a sorce of potable water.
There might be some debris in that tank affecting the flow.

In my house, if there's an interruption to the incoming water pressure its the bathroom that goes off first (due to it being the highest point in the house after the hot water header tanks). Downstairs will, when tested, give some flow as you're emptying out what's in the pipes.
Was there any discolouration when the water came back? Gurgling/knocking noises?

I reckon the blockage was probably part of a decomposing rat, bits of which have slowly fallen off, thereby allowing water to pass again. Don't worry though because if you've been routinely sterilising the water by boiling and intense UV treatment, there'll be no health risk. If you've been unlucky, however, the first signs of serious infection and the tell-tale madness which results will be a tendency to support Corbyn...
