Re: Areas already upgraded (2012 double speed upgrades)
Does anyone know whether the Liverpool area has been upgraded yet? The reason I ask is, I upgraded my package before the date, so I got mine upgraded before the date, so I am not sure whether the area has been updated or not.

You could wade through this thread:

Not sure if it will help though.

If you log in to My Virgin Media it will tell, as I upgraded before but still get the message stating area has been done.

I see my area is getting left behind as usual, and I can see the main Virgin building from my house

This is rediculosis, Virgin should maintain a .PDF as an update source as they have done in the past!

Yeah, as we hit July the Boltometer becomes pretty useless because for the vast majority its just "July onwards"

Re: Areas already upgraded (2012 double speed upgrades)
when channel bonding reaches ya area then ya get the upload, im on 100mb down and 5mb up. maybe will see 200mb down 20mb up so then bt fttc doesnt look so appealing with there 20mb upload.

Re: Areas already upgraded (2012 double speed upgrades)
Maidenhead (Area 14) still no upgrade, hoping they make the April-July target!
I would't mind the wait had I not be stuck on the reduced traffic management rate. Kind of feel like I'm being penalised for not being a new customer, who would receive 60mbs at the same price straight away.

Re: Areas already upgraded (2012 double speed upgrades)
I did and upgraded from 10Mbps to 60Mbps for £2.50 a month....
I see I got slightly stiffed though. I knew it was a 12 month contract and that has just come through. It doesn't show as a £2.50 loyalty discount it shows as £5 and my normal rate at £30 which is more than a new customer - that ensures I'll be calling again in a years time. Fair game. In a year I may have seen a repeat of the abysmal performance I had earlier in the year and have forgiven Openreach for their no-show on the Infinity install.
It's all a game.
