Downloading a stream?

Hi

How do I download/record a video stream? I'm just using it for personal use and not selling it.

Re: Downloading a stream?

What sort of stream is it? If DRM then you need a screen recorder, if not then there's a lot of programs but it does depend on the stream

Re: Downloading a stream?

.wmv isn't usually a streaming container , should just be able to download it

Re: Downloading a stream?

WMV can be encoded as a stream.. mix that with non-fixed link and you would have to stream it to save the whole file.

Re: Downloading a stream?

I cant seem to get this to record, I tried following the Kymmy link to videohelp but that post is rather old and the application layout has changed quiet a bit. All I end up with is a 1kb .ps file
