A4E finally booted from its contract by DWP

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/journalis...-taxpayer.html

After catalogue issues there contract finally been pulled. With criminal investigations going with A4E. Nope these was not the reason Grayling said there no fraud but discrepencies and issues with significant weaknesses.

I agree labour that these issues need to be highlighted.

But at least one **** company is out the system.

Now for ATOS.

Probably need to read the article in a bit more detail Mertle

However, the Government was unhappy with A4e’s performance providing the Mandatory Work Activity contract, which helps 1,000 people on jobless benefits get work experience.

“While the team found no evidence of fraud, it identified significant weaknesses in A4e’s internal controls on the Mandatory Work Activity contract in the South East," Mr Grayling said.
This only applies to one contract they have a few more so they aren't out of the system at all .Whether or not that's a good thing is a different discussion

thanks martyh shame then how can government deal with company with criminal investigation beyond me.

Do think at present people would be better off this company goes completely.

They seem worse DWP for massarging figures.

What people unemployed needs is proper setup which gets the the proper training not some cheap system which dont help.

There been loads over the years very few work or help. From infamous YOPS to JOBCLUB each government bring out new coat but is same wolf in sheeps clothing. They do didly to help alot times. Jobclub was very few successful schemes come out of governments.

We need get back to business providing training programmes with proper aprenticeships and link it universities/collages.

Have Jobclub system for all jobseakers wont be cheap but sooner we invest into futures better the country will be.

I would be idea to have business sponsor students into academic education by paying there fees. These obvisious would be the brightest in the field. Which means they get talented new staff.

A4E was apparantly originally very good too but something happened they turned greedy depserate company.

Unless they return to its former self they need to be gone.

Those on JSA need the proper help it must be very hard to find work at present last they need company doing tricks.
