Yes, and added to that, 150 hours of recordings aren't much. They don't say for how long they will be retained, either.

A service i'm keeping an eye on is a Australian Netflix type service called Stan.
Has a lot of great content on it, could be the next Netflix.

Let's hope it goes global!

Hulu could come to the UK within the next five years.

Hulu did tell me they're aiming to be in UK by 2020 so you could be right there OB.

Do you know when it starts as my brother uses it and he can not see it on the Amazon stick app or on the desktop player?

Had an e-mail from them earlier this week offering 50% off the annual subscription cost using code XMAS17 at the checkout. so a year for £30.00, plus they have a month's free trial too.

The TV Player is already on Amazon Fire, but I don’t know when the cloud recording service will start - their site just says ‘coming soon’.

I haven't had any errors from any of my sports streaming services for a few months (even at high demand times) and to their credit the NFL gave me a 20% refund on my season pass when earlier in the year their recently outsourced service didn't work one Sunday (its been perfect since) and Now TV have given me 3 months free Sky Sports for helping them identify a glitch in their sports service.
I would admit none of those 3 are as good as broadcast HD but are a damn sight better than broadcast SD, if I were to rank them on picture quality the NFL service would be first and the closest to broadcast HD, BT sports second (hampered by its lowish bitrate) and Now TV 3rd (hampered by its 25 fps framerate).

I realise how good sports streaming services can be by being fortunate enough to use some services from the USA, despite having to counteract geo-restrictions when I use these I get a service without faults and with a picture quality on a par with UK broadcast HD if not better on some occasions (ESPN at 12500 kpbs is most definitely better than I've seen from a UK sports broadcaster).
NFL is very good PQ in HD - I believe one reason for this is the pitch is very narrow compared to Football/Rugby pitch hence cameras can be a lot closer

Not sure how TV player consider the 38 premium channels to be Premium - only ever watched 2 of them and then only 1 or 2 times a year (and those channels are free on sky)

Re: Netflix/Streaming Services

NFL Gamepass in HD is ok at best it's perfectly acceptable for studio stuff but the game quality just doesn't match up to watching on the linear HD channels.

Erm let me think now.... Schedule, reviews, what others say about the channel.
Nice try at having a pop but as usual your attempts are a failure.
The 38 pay channels on tvplayer are not free on SKY either, i wonder if you aim to troll or are just trying to be smart and failing at times.

Apologies for not being clear enough - what I meant was the 38 premium channels are not premium channels on sky.

I.e. Premium channels on sky are things like sky sports, premier sports, BT sports, sky movie channels - channels that you pay extra for on top of the basic service.
