I think that's just scaremongering. Something will give before that happens, too big a brand.

No need for YouTube. I've watched them on the Subway in Glasgow city centre on a Saturday afternoon.
I'd love to see them in the Premiership, it might bring them all down a peg or two.

Do you mean the Atlantic League?
What about Celtic moving to the English fottball league, taking Portmouth's FC place if they shut down?
Also will they rename themselfs Glasgow FC, since they will the onyl major football club in Glasgow, they can take on Rangers fans (who will have no team to support)

Re: Would you like to see Celtic and Rangers in the English league?
ha! Celtic changing to Glasgow FC and Rangers fans singing to their tune. thats as funny as the atlantic league or euro move. if scot teams move they will join the english league from the bottom end of which they wont so they will remain in scotland wasting their time with no real ambition.
as for taking portmouths place? are you joking? what about all the other teams already in situ?

The Atlantic leaguen is a good idea, if Rangers go bust, then Celtic will just keep on winning titles all the time

Re: Would you like to see Celtic and Rangers in the English league?
who else is in this atlantic league? what happens to the CL and Europa league. its a stupid idea that need scrapping. the 'european' cups have pushed it far enough with it now being an open competition rather than the cup winners cup.
theres no easy way out of fraud etc. Rangers have screwed up, Portsmouth have.. deal with it or go bust

Re: Would you like to see Celtic and Rangers in the English league?
UEFA wouldn't take kindly to Glasgow Rangers playing in the English League. They would need to approve it and are generally disinclined to do so as they fear the emergence of European Super Leagues, where smaller countries play in larger leagues. Belgium in France, Portugal in Spain, Poland in Germany etc.

The Alantic Laegue will consist of the top teams from Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Portugal, Belgium and The Neatherlands. All have small football leagues dominated by a few big clubs. As for CL and Europa qulaifications, well it will the same as any major big 1st tier league e.g. EPL
