Well, kind of. The full service isn't on there, though.

Probably because people don't want the expensive full service , Now TV is aimed at the pay tv lite market

Re: Netflix/Streaming Services
An interesting thought is whether VM might be contemplating using BT'S fibre optic cables as a cheap way of extending their services to the rest of the country. This could transform their fortunes and enable them to gain access to millions more customers.

Absolutely, plus they still have the benefit of having their own network which only they can use. This could give them a significant advantage, but as I said on another thread last week, I expect within 5-10 years that Sky will become the UK's largest cableco.

They used to let you subscribe to SKYGO on it's own too at one time from as little as £15p/m

Re: Netflix/Streaming Services
Any ideas on when the new Now TV box is coming out and if they will ever add anymore channels to the line up?

Re: Netflix/Streaming Services
I think they were suggesting Q3 for the new Now TV box with Freeview built in.
I would say it is unlikely that the number of channels will grow much on Now TV as a) it will push the cost up beyond what is currently an attractive price point, b) they would prefer revenue to stay with channels Sky own or co-own in the UK, c) we'll probably see other content owners offering their own apps / services.
TV Player Plus for £4.99/month covers most of the popular channels that aren't on it and is rolling out to quite a few streaming devices over the next few months apparently : http://www.tvplayer.com/channels/.

For a similar price, upgrading from the free M TV pack on VM to the M+ TV pack adds many of the channels that are missing from Now TV.

Still working for me on Xbox One, not sure what I will do to get around it when it goes pear shaped!

I have never used anything like Unblock-us, but I know there's a lot more on the US version of Netflix than on the UK one.
However, is it not true to say that pretty well everything on there is also available on Sky or elsewhere in this country? Is it not all down to cost rather than access? What sort of programmes are you watching on Netflix USA that we can't get here?

Re: Netflix/Streaming Services
Crossing Lines has season 3 on there. Plus Person of Interest season 4 is on there, whilst Channel 5 show it here they are so slow showing the episodes that PoI will be finished for about 4 years before we get to see the last ever episode of it.
