Re: What have you just bought?
I just bought the Samsung Gear S2 Classic, extra charger, screen protector & metal strap.
I was in the Samsung shop yesterday and nearly bought the S2 but they only had the white one, and walked away to think.
Well the classic supports standard watch straps, which comes with a leather strap.
Can't wait for it to be delivered tomorrow at work.

Didn't want to temp fate having found the car we wanted , although we bought it some time ago, we picked it up yesterday and I can now say John and I bought a new car at a huge discount. Vey happy but now I'm trying to pick up the courage to let it parallel park itself.

Parents car parks itself, they tried it once and never bothered with that feature again, not sure why, maybe it is trust or too slow?

I have now tried it but I doubt that it will be something I do often as it totally unnerved me. We have front and rear sensors with a rear view camera that came in the same package and these are far more useful. The rear view camera has already got me safely out of very tight carpark that I usually avoid like the plague when there are delivery vans narrowing down the manoeuvring options. On the minus side the sensors do not like me reversing onto our drive, the car positively has a tantrum, I get flashing red lights and warning bleeps the whole time I reverse through our gates, between our boundry fence and a privacy wall and a couple of Yew trees. At least John only closes his eyes and prays.

Re: What have you just bought?
A Nvidia GT730 ... don't laugh! - for 15 quid it was a upgrade compared to the HD5670 that was in before - and I'm now toting a Kepler based card with Windows 10 DX12 goodness (FL 11_0) ... I thought Kepler got FL 11_1

Re: What have you just bought?
A replacement power supply/charger for my HP laptop. I left the original at my mothers place in Cornwall. Unfortuantely it's an "intelligent" one so even providing power to the socket on the machine of the right voltage and polarity won't actually charge the battery. Connector is one of those barrel and pin types but I think it actually has a third connection on the inner wall of the barrel.

Re: What have you just bought?
Our nearest Ikea is 120 miles away so unless one comes down our way we will not be going to one anytime soon.

Re: What have you just bought?
Picked up a Canon 1200D twin lens from PC world, it's ok but not as good as my old Sony A350 (which I sold 4 or so years ago) Also a Canon ISUX 275 HS.
My wife is becoming frustrated with the amount of camera's I buy.
We (I) have a Fuji HS10 & HS30EXR, Nikon P610, Canon 1200D, Ixus 275.

Re: What have you just bought?
A car. The Metro is in my garage awaiting some TLC so I needed another vehicle and a friends son was selling his: A Mitsubishi Colt, 5 door. About 6 years old but only 45K on the clock for £3,500. Nice condition. Very quiet.
I haven't driven for quite a while and an unfamiliar vehicle. Took it very gently from Newhaven back to Worthing to finish with getting it into my driveway. Just nudged a door mirror on the way in. No harm done.
