Political correctness my backside, it's a long overdue outbreak of taste. Have you *heard* the Hamilton's effort? Bring back the birch, I say.

Re: England songs banned by Radio 1

I'm glad they are banning them. There is way too much England World Cup stuff everywhere at the moment. We need a break from it all.

Funny, Moyles must have played 5 different England songs today, and I'm sure I heard 3 Lions last week.

Re: England songs banned by Radio 1

They can play England songs provided the word "England" is not mentioned repeatedly!

Moyles was talking about this story today and mentioned it was a load of nonsense, they are allowed to play any and all world cup songs.

Re: England songs banned by Radio 1

Hear, hear, Gareth.

Most of these 'PC killjoy banning England' stories are completely made up. Making up imaginary enemies is stock in trade for tabloids.

Hamiltons - Neil and Christine Hamilton have produced one of the worst England songs ever committed to record. Truly awful - makes you want to hack your own ears off with a blunt razor.
