Re: Brighton Slow Again
hmm.. its up to you man, figure out what you want to do, cut expenses etc.
tell you the truth if you do then do it all speaking to 'thinking of leaving' quoting your email. although getting a bump in broadband speed may turn out to be free with whats been said in the email, changing your tv package may increase your bill, strange i know but old pricing system or whatever.

Re: Brighton Slow Again
click on Create a new monitor > http://www.thinkbroadband.com/ping
then generate a shared live link and post it here
double check that ping response is allowed within your router settings

created new monitor and generated shared live link.
How do I post it here ? As it will not cut & paste. I'll try photobucket.

Re: Brighton Slow Again
found this;
Why is my graph completely red (showing 100% packet loss)?
This may be due to firewall settings or because your IP address has changed. If you have a firewall, ensure that it allows ICMP ping. You will also see 100% packet loss if the address we are monitoring is disconnected from the Internet. You can find out how to configure your router or firewall using our router setup guides.

Re: Brighton Slow Again
The Ping response setting (also called ICMP) is a router WAN setting. Just navigate the router settings and you'll find it.

Found it. Changed it to allow ICMP ping (it did not before).
